The Academic Component consists of three hours of intensive instruction each morning from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. There will be daily written homework and a final examination or term project. North American students may be able to transfer credits to their university (check with your university representative).

Care is taken to provide personal instruction and attention to all participants. Class sizes are limited to fifteen (15) students to optimize each student's learning experience.


Courses Offered

Yiddish I: Introductory course for students who have no prior knowledge of Yiddish.

Yiddish II: Higher introductory course for students with modest knowledge of Yiddish.

Yiddish III: Intermediate course for students who have completed a one year university course in Yiddish or the equivalent.

Yiddish IV: Advanced course for students who have completed a two year university course in Yiddish or the equivalent.
